A little introduction.

Hello my freaky followers,

It's your friendly Indie Author Damon here, and I plan to be with you quite a lot over the coming weeks as blogging is something I've resisted doing for too long and according to every damn social media Guru and fellow Authors if you don't have a blog then you're not going to get very far in this business of being a writer! Fair enough, but they don't have to make it sound more bloody scary than my books :-) Anyway, here I am on my brand new blog that I've called Burn The Mid-Write Oil as according to those pesky know-it-alls that call themselves “Gurus” not only do you need to have a blog, you also need something catchy for the title, so that was the best I could come up with (In all of ten seconds) and I plan to keep this sucker up to date with posts every week (In between my podcasting and writing) the things I do to get noticed ha! But one thing I promised myself I am not going to do on this wee blog of mine, is post meaningless drivel. I've seen countless blogs where author's are so deluded all they seem to write about is how great their book is, how it's soon to be a best seller with Universal Studios beating down their door to offer them a movie deal and so on and so forth. Yes, people really do write stuff like that, but not me! OH NO, not on your Nelly. I'm starting this blog so people can get to know me, the real me that is (Not some ponce that has an over inflated ego) and the wild, crazy guy I really am, and I don't mean that in a bad way. Just as this blog is about people getting to know me, it's also about me getting to know you so don't be shy. If you have any questions or comments then just send them to me via the contact page and I will respond to every one of them (If I get any at all LOL). So, that's enough from me for now, so I hope you will join me every week for more ramblings, book reviews, writing updates, and pretty much life in general. And so far, Life is good. So until next week my wonderful freaks, this is Damon Ravenblood signing off. Over and Out....
